AN X Factor contestant who made national headlines after failing to go through to the live finals is to appear at a Hereford nightclub.
Gamu Nhengu will be taking to the stage at Play on February 18.
The 19-year-old was touted as one of the favourites during last year’s auditions, but her mentor Cheryl Cole decided not to take her through to the live shows. Her decision outraged many of her fans, with thousands joining a Facebook page in protest.
Doors will open at 10pm on the night with the first 100 people getting to meet the artist and have their photograph taken.
